Conference USA - Scheduling and preseason
Welcome to Conference USA, our Xbox 360 Solecismic 8-style NCAA 2010 dynasty. Invitations have been sent.
Conference USA East: Conference USA West: Here's the owner's list: Code:
Right now, you need to do set up your recruiting board, redshirt guys, adjust depth charts, and remove any FCS teams from your schedule. I'll post team schedules soon, but too tired tonight. The rivals got all effed up by swapping in teambuilder teams. I tried to set them up logically -- who knows if it worked okay... Last edited by Kodos : 08-12-2009 at 09:20 PM. |

I got kinda liberal in moving teams to different conferences. Hope nobody minds. Here are the most significant changes:
Big Ten: Notre Dame in, PSU out Big East: PSU in, USF to Conf USA Big 12: Boise State in, Texas Tech to Conf USA ACC: UCF in, Miami to Conf USA MWC: TCU to Conf USA Independents: Air Force joined Army and Navy I put a lot of the refugee teams from Conf USA into the Sun Belt. There were some other tweaks too, but I didn't write them down. |

I used EF27's most recent sliders from the NCAA 2010 thread in general discussion.

Here's the game-generated schedule. I did change a couple home vs. aways, as the schedules were sometimes unbalanced. All FCS games must be replaced. Games against any in Conference USA are locked. So you can't change the team or the site for games against:
Allendale, Egg Harbor, Fairport, Garfield, Gibbs, Highland Park, Miami, Permian, Texas Tech, TCU, Tucker, or USF. Last edited by Kodos : 08-11-2009 at 09:47 PM. |

Make my FCS game a home game vs Western Kentucky or Idaho. Need to get one on the bored or so I hope.

Change my week 2 to Western Kentucky or San Jose State U. and make it an away game.
Change week 4 to New Mexico and make it a home game. And accepted and ready to advance. Last edited by Grammaticus : 08-12-2009 at 01:09 AM. |

I'd like Stanford in week 4. I'll be accepting my invitation and doing all of my pre-season stuff this afternoon.

Looks like they cut down a week from NCAA 2009. Does that reflect something that happened in real life?

Make my first game against a small conference opponent. I want to get a game in and get used to it.

Locked and loaded. Our offensive talent isn't quite as hideous as I thought it would be. The counter in the upper right corner displays that all teams are ready, but the Highland Park Giants might still need to do something as they don't have a green check.

Had to rejigger things a bit. Week 2 you host Stanford, Week 4 you go to UTEP. Sound okay? |

Mike - you mentioned that the sliders looked like they were set to the default last night. I just checked in-game, and the modified sliders are showing up for me. Strange. Can someone else take a look?

I think I may regret not downgrading Texas Tech, A&M, or Ole Miss - we'll see how it goes .

Well, you couldn't downgrade Texas Tech. But I know what you mean.
I expect a lot of ass-kickings for me. |

I know, all of my practice games with my team have been brutal. The only one that I have won was when I matched up D+ to D+.

I got my ass kicked last night by a fell D+ Conf-USA team on default All Pro sliders. Those are easier than what we went with here...
