Ootp 5
Should I buy? Any of you in online leagues, and are they good? Also, how is the solo mode this year?

Definitely worth the price.
There are at least 3 or 4 leagues that are fairly heavy with FOFCers. (FOBL, RWBL, JBL, CFBL, SBL). Solo mode is fun, especially with individual owner personalities and expectations, and manager contracts. |

I am sure you can, you just need to get on the waiting list for the leagues. The RWBL is a great league, but occasionally has some openings in the offseason.

Sounds like there will be some openings at the newly formed SBL.
www.thesbl.com SirFozzie is the commisioner, so PM or emailing him may be a good start. |

CFBL needs an owner for the Reds and Padres (I think those are the two open teams). Here is the site, feel free to apply. We're not as active as some of the other leagues, but there are at least a few of us in it, and I'm trying to keep people more active lately (it's easy to be happy when your Phillies have started the season 16-3 with 130 runs scored )
PS - We're not switching over to OOTP 5 until next season, and you don't need to own OOTP to participate in the league, although it'd be quite difficult to do so without it. Everything you need is on the website, but it'll be hard to get a feel for what everything means/does without OOTP. Joining our league, combined with downloading the demo, might be a good way for you to decide whether or not you want to buy.

Following up with Vince - drop me an email if you have any questions, we'd love to get another FOFC'er in.
