ESPN started adding periods to all their sports briefs.

I wonder why they are doing this.

The Bottom Line used to say things like:

Reds 1B Joey Votto has been placed on the 15-day DL

Now it says:

Reds 1B Joey Votto has been placed on the 15-day DL.

Has anyone else noticed this? It seems odd that they would all of a sudden decide to throw the periods at the end of all of the brief news stories.

I'm not surprised. It's just yet another example of the impending zombie apololypse.
