Torry Holt's Press Conference - OUCH!

http://www.jaguars.com/Multimedia/

Click on the Torry Holt Press Conference , first one as a Jag. Several comments:

1). He is very articulate. I like that.
2). Around 4:30 he states that he has lost a step but can still play at a pro bowl level. I appreciate the honesty.
3). You MUST go to 8:00. OUCHOUCHOUCH. Dude is asked about his middle finger on the left hand and shows it to everyone. I had never known that had happened to his finger and it's like a Ronnie Lott moment for me. OUCHIE

That isn't Torry Holt. That's Todd Bridges.

Well, that was unpleasant.

So I shared it with everybody at work, just without any sort of warning.

Their responses were worth it.

Why? Cause I enjoy listening to a football player not spat out the same annoying phases over and over again (The no i in team, 110%, etc nonsense)

I like that he's confident, but not arrogant and seems capable of independent thought, unlike may players that just spew out nonsense. If someone doesn't like that, then they go elsewhere.

I've always been impressed with him (and Trent Green too) when I've seen him do commentary. He'll be a good commentator someday if he wants it.

I worked at a Best Buy with Rashied Davis (Bears WR) while he was still playing with SaberCats of the Arena League. He had an index finger that was permanently bent from having a weight drop on it.

Don't these people have easy access to medical care? I would think that's something you would want to get fixed...
