Question SouthPark Cows - The Team, the legend

Hello, I am still new to the FOFC Federation/Group. No matter, the Cows are the still team to fear...
I cannot share all my secrets since I have a fellow FOFC member in my series, ravenhawk. He just happens to be the only team to beat me twice in competition. He should only beat me once this season. So here marks the beginning of the FOFC Dynasty report on the SouthPark Cows...

As the new season starts lytic, team owner/manager, has decided yet again to go in another direction. Formations will be changing, and the way we go about games will be different. I expect some early losses, but it will be for the best of the team. With RiceCrackers gone, the series is up for grabs between 3 teams, but with a good youth pull, anyone in the series (except for CCG) could take it. The Gargoyles, EVilliVE, and the Cows.
The Goal: to take top 3 in the series, and make it to the 3rd round of the Cup.

More to come...

Hey lytic, your team is certainly to fear. I have just computed your NSI rating for the FOFC rankings and you are ranked 2nd, only 1.5 rankings point from DataKing's Screamin's Seamen and 0.5 points ahead of Ravenhawk's Gargoyles...

If you wanna know what I'm talking about, visit this thread:
Official FOFC Hattrick Rankings for week 18.14

Welcome aboard. The race to the title of your division should make for some nice competition between two FOFCer...

Thanks frogman, I feel bad since I'm not grandfathered in like the rest, maybe you should take a few points off or something (for a few weeks anyway).
I am going to enjoy my fight with ravenhawk He got lucky last match (my Excellent mid vs his weak).

player history

The team is going to need a facelift soon. The defense is all young with little experience, however, the midfield is one of the oldest midfields in all of IV.
The starters: Steve Crain is 28, the Captain of the Cows - Giel Buikstra is a young 36(!), and Kenneth Millard is now 30 years old. We also had Benard Gooden in the mid last season and he's now 31. Our wingers are gettin up there as well, Tory Guy 29 and Steven Mcnutt is 28. Needless to say, we need to start getting some youth in the middle, an injury to Giel could be career ending! My forward, Sven Gustavsson, is no young pup either at 31. The keeper, however, was found in the youth squad and was pulled up at the end of season 17. Palmer Black will again be between the pipes this season. He's now reached the age of 20, and will probably be a Cow for a while.
Quite a contrast between the offensive and the defensive side of the ball. The strong leadership and experience of Claude Tapia is definatly missed in the backfield. He has turned 27 this season and had to be let go last season, so he could go play in Portugal and gain some more valuable experience.
Which means the most experienced person in the back is now Simon Èuk (pronounced È as in CHew, U as in Utah, K as in Killer)! He's a member of the U-20 Slovenia team. He is 19 this year and hopes to get significant playing time for the U-20 Cup quest in season 20. He is a feared man in IV.19, as he usually gets several yellow and red cards a season. He makes them count because the other player usually doesn't get back up. In fact his first game on the U-20 squad, he was a sub for a hurt defender. Came in and not 12 minutes later was ejected for his 2nd yellow card. He took a player with him though... We have invested in some "Sports Psychologists" to help with his anger management. I guess he had a hard time growing up in Slovenia, but he is having a great time in SouthPark. Maybe we'll turn him into a nice guy (yeah right).
Coach Roger Gant turned 50 this year. He's been known to play in some friendlies, but now that he's hit the half century mark, he'll probably slow down some.
On the other hand, Assistant Coach Olof Bokfeldt will probably play in a few friendlies and maybe some Cup games. He just celebrated his 18th birthday.

Season 16

Season 16 was the season that Lytic bought a dying francise cheap and turned it around into a respected, and then feared soccer team.
02 July 2002 was the day that lytic bought his team from seattle and brought it to the infamous town of SOUTHPARK! The teams obvious mascot had to be the Cow. Chef offered to coach the team, but then later decided that DodgeBall was his sport. Stu Wilson, the Veal farmer was selected as the coach. After finding out that he's better at farming than soccer he was fired the next day. Andy Swafford, who was a passable coach was then hired. Like I said he was a passable coach and was fired shortly after that season.
When Lytic took over the Cows were horrible. They were the last place team in a Div V series. They had no points to count for and had 2 goals for and about 50 goals against. The team itself was a last place team, not one player was valued at over $100k! The previous owner was obviously a tight-wad. No wonder they couldn't win!
From that very first day, Lytic filled the holes by buying a few weak keepers, some passable defenders, and sold the solid winger. He expanded the originally 7000 seat stadium to a 16,000 seat stadium. Once the people of SouthPark saw this, they knew lytic was serious about bringing this team to great places. The Cows went undefeated for the rest of that season to finish in a respectable 5th place.
Also, Benard Gooden took home the scoring title, which surprised everyone.

Season 17 - Champs!

The is the season that saw the Cows first loss, it was a fluke loss. Honestly, check the game out (matchid = 3328738). The Cows had the ball 94% of the time and still ended up losing 1-0, off of a bad cross from Steve Crain, the Cow with the most match apperances (currently at 54). It was a sold out game at Stark Pond, and the crowd went home with such an empty feeling that it Kenny. Lytic vowed to never let that happen again that season to win the rest of the games. They did just that taking home the V.80 Champion title and an auto-promotion to IV.19. Benard Gooden took the scoring title home again, but due to a glitch in the drug testing program, they removed the title from the entire SouthPark team (even though they had 6 of the top 10 scorers). Benard Gooden denies the testing was done properly and that the Hatchet Men (who are still in V.80) paid some officials to give improper results so they could take the scoring title home. Yes, the Cows are still very bitter about this. You'll even hear us complain about it every once in a while (see HT USA Forum).
The Cows left V.80 as the undisputed V.80 champs for life. Here are the current V.80 results for teams that are still around:

1. SouthPark Cows 19 82 - 9 52
2. S.F.K.B's 18 72 - 17 46
3. Siberian Socialists 16 72 - 17 38
4. Arizona Rattlers 27 36 - 63 31
5. Sons of Liberty 16 35 - 33 29
6. Hatchet Men 20 33 - 46 25
7. D2P FC 20 28 - 42 22
8. SuicidaLifestyle 8 11 - 23 6
9. PhotoN DC 4 1 - 10 2

Not bad for a defensive based team...

A break in the history

U20 Elections have kicked off and I seem to be the front runner for South Korea. If any of you get bored, put in a good word for me. I'll also let you guys know if there is going to be a U20 player for sale, if you are interested in helping me make South Korea respected more (they need all the help they can get!).

Only people with teams in South Korea can vote IN South Korea. They can vote for whoever the want though... A few of them had asked me to run since I've been helping them out when they have questions.
Also, the fact that their current coach doesn't seem to understand the game that well.

For those of you who do not know, lytic and I are matched against each other this weekend at the Gargoyles' The Concrete Jungle. I would like to officially wish lytic good luck this season and welcome him to the FOFC community. It's wonderful that we now are getting Hattrickers over to FOFC.

May the best team win, lytic. I hope that my luck from our last match holds. I just scowered your offseason transfers today and noticed that you have improved a couple of your areas and picked up some good training material.

Best of luck!

------edit-----

I also thought that I would post a couple of my strategies (post game) in this thread as well, if lytic does not object (I do not have the time to write a full Gargoyles thread). I think that it would be helpful to all FOFC members to be able to see the two sides of the coin in matches and in strategies. It might help people to see what works and what does not work from a tactical standpoint, as well as helping lytic an I learn. As much fun as I have with lytic in my division, I know that we both won't be together forever and that we both could learn some things from head to head knowledge. Let me know what you think, lytic.

never came back to the dynasty due to being too busy/injured/vacation/etc, this would have been a great idea!

...and were back

Quick update of the season...
The Cows, after losing the key game #1 to the Evil Gargs and pulled a draw vs The Evil Hulis, The Cows decided to make a big Cup run, only to be defeated by KOTA, the probable eventual Champions, in round 7! The goal was to make it past round 3, which the Cows never made it past round 2 before. Needless to say, if has worked out financially better. The big upset was in round 6 pulling a formidable mid while only playing normal. The plan was a well developed attack-counter attack. They have no wing attack, so we defended everything in the middle, while putting on a strong wing attack ourself. Sure it was an upset of sorts, but the game was won in PKs and the Cows just happen to have "cool" guys that know how to end it.

SouthPark Cows
Player rating and Team formation
Midfield: formidable
Right Side Defence: passable
Central Defence: formidable
Left Side Defence: solid
Right Side Attack: poor
Central Attack: weak
Left Side Attack: passable

Vampires
Player rating and Team formation
Midfield: passable
Right Side Defence: solid
Central Defence: outstanding
Left Side Defence: excellent
Right Side Attack: passable
Central Attack: brilliant
Left Side Attack: solid

As for the season... well, we didn't wan to take away from training, so we bite the bullet and put trainees out for the league games. The results were as expected... and no luck has been thrown in towards the Cows. In fact, Youth Squad investment this season is in the red (quite a bit). The training program has allowed us to stay above water by selling 3 Excellent defenders. One was Tommy Griffith, who was a 17 year old weak defender pull in at the end of the first season.
Simon Cuk - U20 Slovenia defender has 10 caps now. His future is bright and seems to have solidified himself as a near permenant starter as long as he stays in form. National Squad Coach already has his eyes on him and checks up on his progress!

As for the rest of the season, here are the current stats:
Team Played Goals Points
1. EVillIVE 11 39 - 15 27

2. Gargoyles 11 41 - 14 25
3. zyzzerz 11 47 - 19 24
4. The Mad Huligans 11 36 - 27 19

5. SouthPark Cows 11 32 - 20 16
6. Fockers 11 21 - 29 13

7. flaming bees 11 7 - 49 4
8. Center City Gooners 11 0 - 50 1

The Cows final games are:
Upcoming Matches
6/23/2003 (League): SouthPark Cows - The Mad Huligans
6/30/2003 (League): flaming bees - SouthPark Cows*
7/7/2003 (League): SouthPark Cows - Gargoyles
*=Walkover

This is the Mad Huligans last game of the season as they have 2 walkover wins for the final 2 games. The Hulis are sure to MOTS the game. The Cows have to beat Huli and Gargs to finish above the line in 4th place. At least they are at home. I finally have no injured players... and the hulis have a few. Ironically, their 17 year old keeper got injured who was going to be the new starter. They were going to sell their $2.5mil keeper, but now it looks like I'll have to face him.
The Cows attack has never really been a great one since we have to play a winger towards the midfield to match the mid ratings. In div V it was different since a inad-pass mid was all I needed.

Now as for the future of this team, it's time to start changing the face of the team as stated earlier this season. We've done so with the buying of Yuri Danhof...

He is currently:
Yuri Danhof
292 000 US$, 19 years, passable form
Has disastrous experience and passable leadership abilities [Unpredictable]

Stamina: passable Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: solid Passing: solid
Winger: weak Defending: inadequate
Scoring: weak Set Pieces: solid

He was @ weak defending, but I've been playing him as a offensive defender in friendlies to boost his defense for the future. Since he's only 19, I think I could get his defending to at least solid before he gets too old. Sure he takes a trainee slot, but I hope to have this guy for several seasons, and if I need to sell him to get a better middie, then I can sell him higher with a solid defense.

I finally have 2 Solid keepers on the team, they can keep each other in check for form. Incumbent Palmer Black has a higher stamina so his value is higher. I do believe he has a little more skill than newcomer Odell Sheets, so Palmer will start when they have equal form.

Once we buy a better middie, we may be able to retire Giel Buikstra :

19 000 US$, 36 years, inadequate form
Has solid experience and weak leadership abilities

Stamina: excellent Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: solid Passing: poor
Winger: inadequate Defending: poor
Scoring: inadequate Set Pieces: inadequate

He's injured but playing right now... Hes older than a lot of coaches including ones in our series. He's a good captain with his solid experience, but another injury to this guy would spell disaster. He's lost a lot of stats since we bought him 3 seasons ago. He was excellent PM with inad passing. He can get 3* in excellent form, we definatly got our money's worth though...

So finishing off the season we need to get young @ mid and at forward. Which means at the very least 2 more seasons in IV unless we get a magical youth pull (very doubtful) or get extremely luck (even more doubtful).

So what's my strat for the last 3 games?

Try to win.

The Gargoyles have a mad home stretch. We blew two games against the Mad Hulligans mid-season, which nearly crippled our chances at winning the division. With our two best midfielders out to injury or suspension, our hopes fell and we lost two matches that we should have easily won.

A loss in any of our last three games agains the #1, #3 teams and a tough Cows team, will mean at least one more season in IV. Even if we win the division, our team will be too spent to win a qualifier, unless somebody decides to throw a match.

This year we spent money on cheap defenders and really good wingers, as well as tripling the size of our stadium to house 45,000+ punters.

Strategy is not set, but most likely we'll only be able to win one of the last three games if not two. We have a lot of players in 2-card trouble and they were benched last week to be saved for a big game against Evillive. That move unfortunately gave us a tie against the beatable Fockers and vaulted Evil into 1st place. With Evil's last two matches against a walkover and the Fockers, we definitly need to win the last 3 to take the division.

45k? How many supporters do you have? I'm gonna rebuild in the off season to 50k and not have to worry about building more for at least a full season or 2.

Looking at the Huligans "announcement" ... it looks like he means to MOTS the Cows and why shouldn't he? It's his last game... He needs this win as much as I... I may have to spend some money and stay up really really late. I was trying to save up for a 4* middie...

hmmm, i gotta ask.

For the money you spent on Yuri you could have bought a slightly older (probally 23-24year old) Excellent midfilder with very good secondarys.

750k on a Solid midfielder is ALOT! Now if you were training midfielders thats one thing. But since your training defenders it
seems like overkill.

hell for 750k you could have bought a excellent and a solid middy I just saw a 21 year old Solid middy with inadequate/inadequate secondary skills go for 185k in Mexico.

Im not trying to rag ya, i just wanna know the reasoning behind it.

Right, good questions and analysis on Yuri...
One thing I also was looking at was his value... His value is near $300k which is more than some of the formidable middies with little extras like passing and defending. Yuri is also still young enough to be trained in some defending... Imagine Solid playmaking, passing and defending! Also, if you notice his "Memorable moments:"
Date Event
No remarkable events have been recorded yet
Compare it to the date that the player got the team to when he sold this player, you know that he wasn't just trained to Solid PM. He very well could be mid to high solid... and looking at this value compared to his rating, I guessed at high mid solid. So Considering that he's possibly only a few weeks behind an excellent PM, plus the fact that I don't have a very good offense and he does have solid passing. I was willing to go to $800k for him. Luckily, no one else bidded on him... He has 5 more weeks until he has passable defending, which means about 13 more weeks until he's triple solid!
When I do research on a player... I do a lot of research! I also look at there last 16 games to see how they performed in the past. I also remember the form issue and how stars can be altered by that. I see a lot of Solid PMs with inad/inad only gettin 2.5 stars in passable/solid form. Yuri can get 3* inad form. Trying to keep him in form is the key...
One final thought... I'm now trying to buy guys that will be the BEST player in that position. To eventually replace all of them... So in doing that I try to target younger players. Nothing 17-18 of course, but from 19-23 is my target area... 24-25 are acceptable if they are really that much better than my current guys. I'm planning for the future, I'm no longer trying to fill holes to survive.

As for my second U20 defender, I found another player that was better than him... so I removed my own player to add the other one.
However, here is my 1 U20 member:

Simon Èuk (7564807)
19 years, passable form, healthy

A controversial person who is temperamental and upright.
Has poor experience and disastrous leadership abilities.

Also part of Team U-20 Slovenia!

Nationality: Slovenija
Assessed value: 165 000 US$
Wage: 1 068 US$/week including 20% Bonus
Owner: SouthPark Cows
Warnings: 2

Stamina: weak Goaltending: disastrous
Playmaking: poor Passing: inadequate
Winger: poor Defending: formidable
Scoring: wretched Set Pieces: inadequate

Matches for National U-20 team: 10
Career Goals: 2
Career Hattricks: 0
League goals this season: 1
Cup goals this season: 0

Èuk as in Ch- like in Chew, -u- like in Utah, -c like in Cow. Choock! I don't this this forum can do his first Character in his last name... but it's supposed to be a C (I think this forum shows an E). He now has 10 caps... which I'm pretty excited about. As long as he remains above passable, he should start. At passable it depends on the other guys.

The Gargoyles currently have 1560 supporters and were able to sell out the 45000 stadium last week against the #6 Fockers. That was the first sellout that I had at this size stadium, but other matches were against Hullis and walkovers. In retrospect, I should have waited to build it that big, but I was sitting on some money that I wanted to use. I thought that Costan Cinca was going to be a good 3rd inner middie, but it turns out that I couldn't turn his form around and he remained a form dog. I am so pissed at him that I'm considering firing him instead of selling him at the end of the season. If I would have done better research on him, I wouldn't have been surprised. Anyhow, his purchase made me think that I was solid at midfield and I didn't think that I had any apparent needs. I was proved wrong. I need more/better IM's.

Regardless, this week, I'm sure that I will see a MOTS from Evil as he has Fockers and a walkover in the last two weeks. He'll be playing to win. The big question is . . . do I PIC and make sure I can take out zyzzerz for 2nd . . . and possibly the cows in the last week of the season.

Actually, the best plan is for me to drop to third, and hope that Cows get 4th. That way we'll assure ourselves of week 1 + 14 matchups, which is quickly becoming a staple of Div IV.19.

I'm considering PICing my 3 last games and getting my TS high for a qual game. It'll be an extra home game ($), I'll get extra training in, but I do run the risk of getting demoted against a really good V team. 5th place may be more profitable, much like my extended cup run was. Of course it would mean losing a record breaking 4 games against any one opponent. As of right now, you are the only team to have beat me a record-breaking 3 times.

If I do decide to go for 4th, I would probably Norm this game vs Hulis and PIC fockers and MOTS gargs depending on if I beat hulis... I have the home advantage in both important games!
A lot to think about in 2 days...

I'd be a lot more worried about relegation than the extra cash you'll pick up.

Naw, If I can't beat a div V team, then I don't deserve to be here in IV... I pulled a Formidable midfield with a normal (@ home) with delirous/satisfied (either one, don't remember) TS and strong confidence.
I could pull another Formidable if I really needed to. Maybe even outstanding with a MOTS @ home.

...and I if do move back to div V, I feel I would win a ton of games and move right on back next season.

*EDIT* stupid english from a person who doesn't get much sleep due to crazy working hours in June. I promise I will get more sleep in July!

Despite knowing that the Hulis are going to MOTS, I have decided to PIC and keep the game close with a 4-5-1. I doubt that I will score on this near $3mil valued keeper without 2 strikers, but I'm not sure if he can score with my 4 top defenders and my new middies out there... My keeper is also in *rare* decent form. So we could see a *rare* 3.5* outta him today.
I expect a loss, but a Set Pieces goal could give us a win. The Cows just haven't had much luck thrown their way recently (since their last cup win); maybe it's time for some...
I also get a PIC game next week to set up the final match vs the Evil gargs.

What's next?

FOFC friendly cup match vs MM... probably the strongest left in the Cup since he's playing starters. He also has a walkover game, so he will enjoy the PIC and the ability to rest his starters for the Cup match.
I predict he will win the possesion, despite me buying a new middie which allows my B team to pick up some decent players that have been long time A teamers.

Well I didn't hold Hulis to a tie. He injured my #3 defender that has a "head" specialty. Ironically in the same minute, the guy who injured my "head" specialty guy scored on a "Head" goal.
It was actually a bit of an upset win for him considering I had better stats... This means I can no longer take 4th place and I will be playing a Qual game. Which was my aim...
When I get home I can write more about the league etc.

The Bad News:

The Gargoyles came up with a tie against Evillive this week. The Gargs needed a victory to claim first place. With matches against zzyzerz and South Park Cows coming up in the next couple of weeks, I will need to get one win to maintain 3rd place. 2 wins gives me second place. After MOTSing Evil this week on the road, most likely the Gargs will try to get their win at home vs. #2 zzyzerz. The 6th place Fockers are the only ones that can help me out now. They have Evil this week and zzyzerz next week. Both teams will be coming off of a MOTS match against me, so maybe The Fockers can clean up the scraps.

The Good News:

Neal Dunn looks to become the series scoring champ this year. He is tied with two Hulligan players, but the Hullis have two walkovers to the end of the season. Neal Dunn needs to score but one goal in the next two matches to take the scoring championship. He is also sitting on two yellow cards . . .

He has got 3.5* for the past 15 weeks. He can play anywhere I need him... Defensive or Normal Forward, Offensive, Defensive, or Normal Inner Mid, or even Normal or Offensive Defender!

He will be a IM mostly... and probably playing normal to boost the already strong defense and help out of the offensive side as well. All depends on the opponent... He was purchased for $1mil.

There has been discussion about trading Hamel when he gets healthy and excellent (2 weeks of training left) for an excellent Striker with weak passing. He'd be a decent 2nd striker until we go buy the formidable one. He also only 20 so he will be on the team a while.

19.12 league game

SouthPark Cows - The Mad Huligans 0 - 2

Date: 6/23/2003 at 01:00
MatchID: 5538436
Arena: Starks Pond
Crowd: 27022

The crowd of 27022 turning up at Starks Pond today were greeted by some nasty showers of rain. SouthPark started off with a 4-5-1 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Black - Èuk, Hamel, Davis, Marcusson - Danhof, Crain, Dragóner, Millard, Guy - Gustavsson.

Huligans started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. They fielded: Fridskär - Mayes, Bradley, Daniels - Negrete, ter Laak, Nacher, Lell, Arellano - Grunddahl, Chastain.

SouthPark seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion about the organization of the team. The referee showed Huliganss Lance Mayes the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. The SouthPark player was Steven Hamel who had to be helped off the pitch, unable to finish the game. Lance Mayes seemed to be floating in the air at will as he elegantly headed in 0-1. The previous Huligans corner kick was executed by Garfield Arellano. The away team´s David Grunddahl took advantage of a mistake to the home side´s right in the 15:th minute increasing Huligans´s lead to 0 - 2. After this Huligans lowered the tempo in order to concentrate on their defensive efforts. The teams went for a half-time break at 0 - 2. SouthPark held the ball, with a clear 52 percent possession rate.

During the break SouthPark´s coach went through the teams new tactics yet again. SouthPark had a brilliant opportunity to reply as Steve Crain received a high ball from the right, striking the ball still in the air. Only John Fridskär´s reflexes saved him. Nigel Chastain came close to extending the visitors lead as he, completely unmarked in front of the goal, lifted a ball over Palmer Black, hitting the bar. SouthParks Tory Guy got himself booked after a foul. Harley Negrete the unlucky victim, couldn´t continue the game. SouthPark seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion about the organization of the team. Huligans held the ball, with a clear 51 percent possession rate.

The most dominating SouthPark player was without a doubt Buda Dragóner. Yuri Danhof on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Huligans player was without a doubt John Fridskär. Torbjörn Fyhrbeck on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 2.

Defeat... another early exit our of the FOFC cup

Missed scoring ops and little attack...

Manhattan Marauders - SouthPark Cows 2 - 0

Date: 6/26/2003 at 01:00
MatchID: 7204141
Arena: Manhattan Marauders Arena
Crowd: 762

762 spectators arrived at Manhattan Marauders Arena, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Manhattan tactics involved an interesting 4-5-1 combination. The following players had been chosen: Nesserberg - Alicante, Livingston, Thomas, Collado - Bradshaw, Pagan, Yun-xian, Waggoner, Judd - Stern.

SouthPark had chosen a strategic 5-4-1 formation. The following players had been chosen: Sheets - Cloud, Dragóner, Danhof, Chang, Hwang - Mcnutt, Buikstra, Gooden, Glass - Donaldson.

Yuri Danhof received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly, probably out of lack of experience, in the 10:th minute and almost caused an opponent to score. Sol Pagan gave his Manhattan the lead with 1 - 0, as he successfully challenged both the guests central defenders, then placed the ball unreachably at the goaltenders right post. 1 - 0 was the half-time score. The fortyfive minutes were dominated by SouthPark, with an impressive 51 percent possession of the ball.

The cannonball from 35 metres by Yuri Danhof of SouthPark was an impressive sight, but didn´t make it into the net. A bit later, a magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Manhattan´s Dustin Stern putting the lead up to 2 - 0. The visitors got a chance of pulling one back in the 71st minute, due to a defensive blunder leaving Clayton Donaldson completely unmarked. His strike was pathetic though, easy prey for the home side´s keeper. The referee showed SouthParks Giel Buikstra the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. The fortyfive minutes were dominated by Manhattan, with an impressive 51 percent possession of the ball.

The most dominating Manhattan player was without a doubt Tim Thomas. However, Dustin Stern made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating SouthPark player was without a doubt Buda Dragóner. Steven Mcnutt on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 2 - 0.

It was a pretty dull game all around. I had to play my best game ever to beat your backups so that pretty much tells me I have a ways to go before being competitive on the D4 level. I know you would have beaten me pretty handily with a 4-5-1 or a few starters, so I'm just grateful to move on and not have to go to France again. Good luck with selling those two players.

News from the Cows

I got an HT-mail today from my cousin, BCdawg owner of the Danvers Onions... Youth Pull Tom Britton is a magnificent rated keeper! He plans on training him for 2-3 more seasons, if his team can handle no influx of new people.
Pretty exciting news... the Cows are happy for Tom, that he's been in a wonderful training regimen with a solid coach! Maybe in 3 seasons, we'll be able to afford to buy him back... *yeah right!*
