Steelers Super Bowl Terrible Towel?
I was wondering if someone could help me out here. I checked nfl.com a day or two after the Super Bowl, and again about a week after... and I saw a Super Bowl 43 Terrible Towel with the final score printed on it selling for something like $9. I can't seem to find it anymore, and I've looked at the entire shop.
Does anyone else have better luck than me, or another site that may sell it? Thanks. |

The official Steelers site has them, for $7.95 (which is what they should be. I believe I saw the one with the score on the NFL site for $16 or more last week).

There was an interesting article in the New York Times recently about the Terrible Towel - (The Terrible Towel’s Wonderful Legacy - NYTimes.com.)
Basically the guy who came up with the "official" version, Myron Cope, left the rights to it to a school for the disabled, and they have made a few million from it, which lets them help a lot more people. |

Cope's youngest son is autistic, and attended the school (Allegheny Valley School) that received the proceeds.
