Anyone gonna be in Boston friday night?

Me and my wife ( MollyMurphy) are meeting up with DaddyTorgo for a few hours friday night. We are getting in around 7 and our friend we are staying with is picking us up around 10 so it will only be for a few hours.

I'll post where we are gonna be when a location is determined. Somewhere near newberry street I think. Anyone who wants to meet for a beer is welcome, I'll PM my number if interested.

Kind of late notice to try to get a babysitter. I can try and see if I can find one and my wife and I can drive into town. So this would be like 8ish Friday evening in Boston? (I don't know the town well at all)

more like 7. My flight gets in at 6. We will only be around for a few hours. I hesitated even putting up a thread for that reason, but if enough FOFCers wanna make a night of it I figured why the hell not.

I also may be around during the day monday if anyone wants to meet for lunch.

I am coming into town because my wife has a conference there begining Monday, and that happens to be our anniversary, so I am flying out. I should have all day monday with nothing to do until we go for dinner that night.

Well I would offer for you to come over and hang out on Monday if you wanted (I work from home), but I live pretty far from Boston you probably don't want to. I'll try to find out tonight if the wife will let me come out and play and let you know tommorrow. I'm not the wild party animal though, but I'll try to keep her from dancing on the tables.

*bump*

I will be wearing dark-blue jeans, a light-brown polo shirt, and an outdoor-hat (which I will keep on at least until a couple people get there - after that no promises on the hat)

well a winter-hat, as opposed to say a "hat" which could = a red sox cap.

Sheeeeeeit. One of the three people I work with just got suspended and possibly arrested/fired, so instead of getting off at 5, I've gotta cover him and work until 10. Next time.

WTF did he do?

Well if you do happen to get out of there earlier somehow - swing on by!

I'm working at a convenience store while I finish school up. He sold a money order for $3000, and anything over $1800 to one person in one day is a federal crime - possibly part of the Patriot Act, but don't quote me on that. I highly doubt anything comes of it legally, but even the threat of that or a request for information from a law enforcement agency to upper management is probably enough for him to get fired even though we'd have 3 employees to work at a store that's open 18 hours a day. To put the mess in perspective, I've been working there less than 10 days, I haven't even received a paycheck yet, I should technically be trained under a managers supervision right now and now I'm being left alone for 8 hours and closing the store today and tomorrow. I don't even know where the keys to the store are. It's kind of hilarious.

Have fun without me this time, but now that I'm back near Boston we'll have to meet up sometime - I would suggest a Revs game, but unfortunately that will have to wait a few months.
