ping: Boston folks

I will be in Boston in November and we will be there for our wedding anniversary. We are staying at the Hilton Boston Back Bay and I was looking for nice, romantic Italian restaurants in the area and found one called Ciao Bella.

Anyone ever heard of it or have other suggestions? We wont have a car so I would prefer something close.

Thanks!

I will get reservations for sure.

Is the Back Bay near the North end?

I really don't know the Boston area too well, but I hope I'm invited to the anniversary celebration, right??

Definitely pick someplace in the North End (Ciao Bella is in Back Bay). You almost can't go wrong in the North End. Just wander the side streets until you find someplace that looks good. Most places are VERY small with only a few tables. Hanover St is the main street but the side streets have a ton of great spots, too. Then stroll the side streets after dinner and find a pastry shop. Mike's Pastry is the big one but there are others, too.

From Back Bay, get on the Green Line or Orange Line to Haymarket. It's a short walk (5 minutes).
