This story made my night...
BY Brendan Brosh, Alison Gendar, Jonathan Lemire and Wil Cruz
DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITERS Cowabunga! Three blockheaded teenagers were busted playing in a sewer Wednesday in Queens - after getting lost while pretending to be Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, police sources said. Schiller Milfort, 16, of Hollis, and Marvin Ottley, 17, of Bellaire, along with an unidentified 15-year-old boy, were shirtless and in their shorts and sneakers when firefighters plucked them out of a sewer in Kissena Park. The make-believe heroes were crawling around the sewer system when they got confused and lost their way, police sources said. They were not injured, officials said. "These three idiots were playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and wanted to go into the sewers," said one police source. "They were never in danger, just goofing off and being stupid." Milfort and Ottley were charged with criminal trespassing. The other teenager was released to his parents. Three found, busted after getting lost in sewer

I never had this initiative while impersonating TMNT as a kid. Respect.

Are they too young for me to point out that the chick in the middle has an amazing rack?

I've seen mass murderers referred to by the police in better terms.

Poor kids. I applaud their imagination.

When I was a kid, I used to stalk around the creek nearby our house with my friends all the time. Sometimes we pretended we were ninjas, other times we were D&D-like adventurers, sometimes we were Star Wars characters, it was good times. Granted, I was like 8 or 9, instead of 15, and never got lost doing it, but still there are ton of more idiodic things for things for these kids to be doing.

Thats fantastic - personally I spent at least one summer wandering around river banks with a long stick pretending to be a wizard .... although I have to admit I'd grown out of it by the ages they are - 17 seems a bit much for that sort of stuff really
(and I ended up as a programmer, gosh thats unexpected ) Last edited by Marc Vaughan : 10-17-2008 at 09:48 AM. |

You know, that's pretty harsh. Could the cop have liked to catch these guys stealing a car instead?
