The 100 Ugliest Cars

According to Telegraph (a UK paper). http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/...glycars123.xml

I disagree with some of their top picks. It's very British centric, those that watch Top Gear will like the list.

94 - Porsche Boxster
93 - VW Touareg
84 - Mitsubishi Lancer Evo
46 - BMW 6-series
26 - MINI/MINI Clubman (Clubman yes, regular Mini no)
20 - Range Rover
5 - Porsche Cayenne

#1 is spot on though.

The quote under the Boxster is spot on:

It is possible that one or two votes had less to do with aesthetics than they did with perceptions about how certain car owners behave on the road.

This is the problem with a reader poll.

I knew before I looked what #1 was. I've looked at it every day for the last 6+ years. I will say it does have good room on the driver's side for a tall person like myself.

The Boxster is not an ugly car.

PT Cruiser at #10 isn't high enough. I hate that car with a vengeance.

Kindof a random list, if you ask me. That said, AMC earned their 2 spots in the top 20

As if PT Cruisers weren't ugly enough on their own, my boss from hell several jobs back drove one. Everytime I see one I get a stimulating visual and mental blend of horror.

I agree that the Pacer deserves 2 spots. I would put the Multipla in the top spot but both that and the Aztex are easily top 5.

I haven't seen an Aztek on the road in awhile, perhaps they've all been destroyed.

If they're anything like mine, they need multiple repairs every other week to keep it running.

I always hated the Camino. The aztec at the top is a good choice. That one Scion that looks like a top hat should be on the list as well.

Not surprised to see the Chrysler 300C ranked high in the list (#55) only becuase it's got a distinctive look. I think they look pretty good. They seem like the most popular car in my neighborhood.
