Things That Make You Go Hmm...

With all due respect to (of all people) Arsenio Hall...

I am just watching LOTR: The Two Towers again on TBS, and they get to the part where the Orcs blow the wall up at Helm's Deep. In the part where Aragorn leads the elven warriors to fill the breach, the orcs set up a spear wall to stand against the onslaught. Well, bloody hell, one of the elves actually gets caught by one of these spears! Think about that. Here's a guy who has been around for millenia, honing his fighting skills and one of a group of the most agile, skilled warriors in the world--and he manages to get himself stuck on a stationary spear held by some Urukhai orc? Was this the token elf retard in the group?

Anything else make you guys go hmm?

Why can't when the total is 16 you can't give them 21. I just have to walk around with a shitload of ones.

I love the LOTR trilogy, but the more i watch it, the more I tend to rip it apart. How about this quote from The Fellowship... "One does not simply walk into Mordor..." Two movies later we find out... apparantly one can simply walk into Mordor.

Isn't that sort of the point of that line though? To show that those little Hobbits are able to accomplish something that humans and the other races think impossible?

Probably would've been faster and more effective to just use the eagles to drop the ring in Mount Doom, no?

Well I'm not done talking about it. I went to a convenient store and had to pull out my wad to pay. I have so many I can't keep them in my wallet. Then the clerk says "you been to the strip club". Why is that stereotype ok. hmm

And don't say I looked so bad she thought that was the only place I coulde see a live naked girl because she was calling me honey when I was walking around the store and being super friendly to me.

This is much more important than some foolish name changing scandal in a math book, I have an offline integrity to keep up. Most guys don't seem to care about integrity, but bear in mind that I certainly do.

But, I mean, really--the immortal super warrior gets himself impaled on a spear by a hunch backed creature created from mud who's level of intelligence makes special ed kids feel gifted?
