Windows Vista Product Key is Invalid for Activation
I bought a dell about a year and a half ago and have had nothing but problem after problem with it- a huge head ache... Most of them were things I have seen before with computers, but this one is a first for me.
When I start up my computer this is what it says: "The Windows Vista Home Premium product key you typed is invalid for activation" Which is strange because although I'm on my 2nd hard drive, it was working a few days ago... Just wanted to vent a little... Not looking forward to restoring the computer yet again... Stick around- I'll let you know if there is a fix for this one |

Just re-enter your prodct key. it will re-activate itself online.

If it doesn't like the one you have, call MS support and tel them "yes its mine, yes its the same machine, yes its the same software it came with." An d they'll reset the activation code for you.
