Tybee Island???

Has anyone here spent any time on Tybee Island? A friend of mine and I are going to a concert in Savannah on a Friday, and then are planning on driving to Tybee Island and staying for 2 nights. I've been looking all morning for a place to stay - we'd like to be right on the beach, and have heard that staying near the pier is nice. I'm not having a lot of luck online through the usual sites (priceline, travelocity, orbitz, etc...), though I did find the Ocean Beach Resort which looks nice but gets mixed reviews from the wesbites.

Has anyone been to Tybee and could maybe recommend a place?

Wow that sounds familiar. I spent a summer in Savannah when I was 17 and I think I've been there but I can't remember.
