I have to admit it's better then most talking head commercials, and it's funny to watch a campaign ad where amongst his other qualifications, he "shoots straight, talk straight and enjoy a good brew". Oh yeah, and that lil bit about making other, "lesser states squirm".

All set to the tune of Big John.

Well of course only in Texas; it's the only state he's running in.

Great ad though. I liked it. I know nothing about his politics but compared to all the hate mongering ads that proliferate this one is a fun, refreshing, breath of fresh air.

I have known Cornyn for about 12 years through the party. He is about as much a Texas Cowboy as Joe Theismann.
