The Wii Fit Challenge
As mentioned in the The Official Nintendo Wii Games Thread, I'm gonna start posting my progress using the Wii Fit. So far, I've been pleasantly surprised at the results. If I combine a diet I can actually follow, I've no doubt the pounds will just fall off.
I'm 33 years old and the first time I took the Wii Fit Body Tests, it calculated my Wii Fit Age at 40! Well, after using the Wii Fit for a week, it has now gone down to 35 which isn't bad, but I'm pretty sure a lot has to do with getting acquainted with the challenges. Anywho, yesterday's results: Hoola Hoop @ 2 minutes - 287 points Free Run @ 10 minutes - 1.678 miles Boxing - 288 points Snow Boarding - 1:59:1 (first time, I was awful) Palm Tree - 76 points Tight Rope - 39 yrds (I was 1 yard away from finishing but the timer started going off and I got nervous and fell off ) Advanced Step - 572 points Half Moon - 71 points Deep Breathing - 92 points I believe that was all. I always incorporate some sort of run and always end with deep breathing exercise. |

Wii fit age - 30 Free Step - 1991 steps in 20 minutes, goal 1600 Lotus Focus - 34 seconds 1 minute Lotus Focus - 34 seconds 1 minute Soccer Heading - 81 points in 1 minute Penguin Slide - 52 points in 2 minutes Triangle - 66 points in 2 minutes Ski Jump - 142m (failed 2nd attempt) in 1 minute Deep Breathing - 88 pts. in 2 minutes Lotus Focus was interesting as it had me sit on the board and be completely still, staring a candle but the thing was, that I supposedly shifted at the exact moment both times. First time doing this. Triangle was easy but when I finished, holy shit my back was killing me. I'm alright now, but jeez that was a little tough. I really enjoy the free step but I maxed out on the pace... hopefully it unlocks several notches higher as this can become easier the more I do it. Granted my ass and thighs were hurting like a mother, but I'm pretty sure after a while it'll become easier. In a week my Wii Fit age has gone down 10 years.. not bad. |
