It's the end of March in Portland, Oregon

...and I just looked out the window and it's SNOWING, fer Christ's sake.

Normally, this would be cause for panic in the middle of December....I-5 is probably soon to be a smoldering heap of auto wreckage and random body parts of stunned and horrified Oregonian drivers. SAVE YOURSELVES!!!

That is kind of crazy. Supposed to be snowing all over the northwest today from what I saw, but the coast is kind of a surprise.

I think it's the end of March just about everywhere. In fact, in most other time zones in the US, it's even closer to the end of March than in Portland. Oh, except for the Southern Hemisphere -- it's the end of November there, right? Happy Thanksgiving!

It snowed about 3-5 inches here yesterday. Good times!

Only the combined power of Doppler 4 Gillion and various stormtracker teams can save us now, through a series of frantic traffic updates from every intersection in the city, broadcast at four second intervals!

"STILL SNOWING HERE, GENE!"
