Aloha. Beautiful islands and excellent history lessons in the least. Enjoy your stay and remain safe.

watch out for creepy ass tiki necklaces. They only bring bad luck.

Also, stay out of caves populated by Vincent Price.

Cam, you weren't even old enough to have been around when that first aired. You had to have been there, everyone at school was talking about it. You do remember when we used to talk verbally instead of typing out conversations in a forum?

Thank god for re-runs.

And yes, I'm vaguely aware of people talking verbally.... although if I could get paid for hosting a message board talk show I would.

Well, I'm in Pearl Harbor. It's Oahu, right?

I was here in November of 2001 and had a lot of fun. Went to the Hawaii-San Jose St. game, went to the beach, and played football with a bunch of Army guys.

Of course the highlight was when I went off the beach and into the water for my brief five minutes. Five minutes was all it took for me to step on a sea urchin.

I also saw the USS Arizona and USS Missouri the last time I was here.

Last night I went a lual and had a ton of fun. Best 40 bucks I've ever spent for a night of entertainment and dinner. My friends and I sat right down front center on the mats and had a great time.

I had four buddies with me, and we took up most of our table. The table next to us was filled with 8 women, and no men. Well, one of the things we did at the lual was the men had to say aloha to the women at their table and kiss them on the cheek. We got sent over to the other table to kiss the 8 ladies, since they had no men. Now that was fun, just don't tell Ms. Ardent.

Later, they recognized our table as sailors from the Nimitz...and that was cool. We had a lot of people come up to us and say thank you during the night.

The food was great and so was the entertainment.

I definitely have to bring Ms. Ardent out here some day.

As for how long I'll be here, just a couple of days. I'd rather not get too specific.

I have no coconut bikini top...maybe I should have borrowed yours, McSweeny!
