(Rock Band) Hardest Songs..
What are your "Hell Songs", the songs where for one reason or another, it's hard to complete or requires so much effort that it becomes not fun to play.
Here's my Three: Drums: Tom Sawyer. Footpedal all over the place, there is a stream of notes near the end in the "drum solo" that if you screw up, can knock about 70% off your drum meter... Guitar: Green Grass and High Tides: Because god knows we needed that 600 note guitar solo at the end. one of those songs where you become mezmerized by the screen, and its hard to concentrate after a while. Note: The bass may be harder to do even then the lead guitar Vocal: Welcome Home: Capriciousness in what's a singy part and what's a talky part, plus there's a lot going ON in that song. What's yours? |

guitar solo for the Green Grass High Tides. unnecessarily long and difficult. and it doesn't really scream "ROCK" to me. don't know why that song is in there, woulda preferred an ACDC song. some of these songs are so unnecessarily difficult that you'd have to actually be able to play the instrument to have the required dexterity to play the song, which defeats the whole purpose of playing a video game version of the instrument. i would think the whole purpose is to make playing the instrument accessible in a manner you wouldn't ever be able to play in real life. obviously it needs to be difficult, but the mastery at the expert level is far and above what a non-instrument playing person is capable of - and i actually play guitar (not lead, i play rhythm guitar).

ditto on the Green Grass and High Tides. I played that one so much and always failed on the same section. It's such a long song and to fail at around 80% completion every time was getting to me. I finally passed it basically slamming all three of the notes on the solo buttons without picking. I had a sliver of red on the rock meter and went on to recover and finish the song. I haven't played it again since, and will most likely never again. If it comes up during World Tour then I'll just walk off stage and take the fan hit.
