The roc that fought Aladdin is presumably a higher level roc, so I'll fight the plebian Monster Manual roc.
Which reminds me, I need to find a good translation of 1001 Arabian Nights unabridged somewhere.

I just want to thank everybody who voted the D&D Roc over Rukh, the Noghri that was Thrawn's BG in the Zahn Star Wars series. I didn;t want any of the entries from the Rukh bracket to make it to the finals.
(Rukh is an alternate spelling and interpretation of the word Roc into English)
