I don't understand how its possible to listen to Bob Dylan sing and actually feel pleasure. Great songwriter, but I'd rather listen to Courtney Love or even Kathy Griffin sing than Bob Dylan.

Different strokes I guess. Mr. Tambourine Man is one of the most soothing songs, imo. |

I like both. I voted for Tool. I think Dylan would approve.

Not a huge fan of Dylan's singing, but his songwriting makes him an easy pick in this matchup.

Bob Dylan is only good when Jimi Hendrix is covering his songs.

Ironically, you just tried to describe a man with a word that couldn't be found in a dictionary.
Kodos, I poop on your vicious Bob Dylan misfire. |

I think a lot of the Tool vote is really an anti-Dylan vote. I confess I'm guilty of that.

![]() Bob Dylan is without question a musical giant. He change rock music in a fundamental way, and many of his records are must-haves. But Tool is also without question a pioneering hard rock group, forging a new and very impressive path merging progressive rock and metal. They are by far the best at what they do and will go down in history as one of the most impressive hard rock acts ever. They also happen to put on a vastly more interesting show than Bob Dylan. I love Dylan, respect the hell out of him, and would agree he has a more impressive career and much higher place in the pantheon of rock acts, but I'd easily rather seen Tool in concert. |
