New Here, Question about FOF2002 and FOF 4 =)
I have FOF 2002, and still sometimes play it... My Steelers franchises were the most fun I've had in video games. Anyone have draft files for it with real college players?
Also, I downloaded the FOF4 demo... is it possible to get real players' names? Thanks! EDIT: It's FOF2001 actually.. lol Last edited by MikeVic : 03-01-2003 at 01:42 AM. |

Well, it makes a difference. In FOF 2001, it doesn't look liek there's much of any way to do this kind of customizing. You're pretty much stuck with starting with the current NFL, and moving toward a fictional league from there.
Some people have been hacking together draft files to try to represent "historic" drafts for FOF4 - which would allow you to play that game starting at a date like 1970, and work your way forward, while seeing familiar old players in the draft each year. I have yet to see a draft file that looks like this year's draft... but I wouldn't be surprised if it existed soon. My general advice is that this game, especially since it lacks video and so forth, is one where you probably need to appreciate fictional players. The game is much more about the numbers and the mnagement side, rather than the "fum" parts of playing on screen and so forth. Unless it woudl be super fun to renegotiatire Rocky Bleieir's contract... in which case you may want to check out the historic files. God luck... it's a great series, if this is your cup of tea. |
