Protests you won't see the media covering
Interesting article which shows media bias us a worldwide thing.
You'll have no problem seeing ABC nightly news finding Korean teenagers in coffee shops talking about how evil Bush and the US are, but you won't see any stories about this side of the story.

Hmmm... I don't watch ABC News that frequently, but a search of their Web site did not reveal any articles quoting Koreans as saying Bush is evil. However -- and you can take this to the bank -- if 1 million people show up at a PRO-U.S. rally on Saturday, it will be on all the networks and live on the cable networks.

Was there ever a 1 million person strong 'anti-war' rally in the US? From what I hear, all of those #'s were extremely exaggerated. Last edited by rexalllsc : 02-26-2003 at 08:36 PM. |

This was not a rally in the US, but throughout Korea. And the story I am referring to from ABC news was on nightly news last week where they interviewed teens in South Korea and some of them did say Bush and the US were evil.
If you take a look at the top of the story you will see this was from a Korea newspaper. The point made is even the Korean news media is biased because they did not cover this story in their own country. Plus you do see many stories in the US of Korean anti-US protests. Ever see a pro US story on American news stations from Korea?
