Giveaway of the Day / Game Giveaway of the Day

Wow! Although they had a lot of junk lately, this one is a very good game:
Hacker Evolution

I just tried it out a little while ago and the game is pretty deep. You are given objectives to hack into systems around the world and have to use a bit of strategy and puzzle solving to get past these systems while minimizing how much you are being traced. Amazing game, that is free for just under an hour and a half.

I find 95% of the games to be uninteresting by the way. But i'm not one to complain, cuz even the uninteresting ones are free. ditto with the software. Much of it is repetitive, but it's free. Although they did have concept draw VI on friday, which is a $150 sweet program.

Jet's And Guns is available for free today. It's a cool side scroller that I tried a demo for last year. A little over 4 and a half hours left.

Alien Shooter is available today. Less than 4 hours to go. Pretty good game and great way to promote the new version that was just released.

It's free, it's a sports game, and it looks nice in the screenshots. Is that enough for fofc?

It's not bad at all. Good graphics, fairly entertaining. It's not a quick game though, each race takes round about 20 to 30 minutes.

I love this site, but I always just miss any game I'd actually want to download.

Same thing with Woot.

or I end up downloading it, but I forget to install it, as I did with that biathlon game. I'm downloading the curling game right now, we'll see if I think about installing it this time

The readme file included in the Minigolf Championship folder after installation needs a rewrite, as it suffers from what I believe is a poor translation into English.

Controls are as follows: Move the mouse left or right to aim. Hold the left mouse button down and move the mouse towards/away from you to add/subtract power from the shot. Press the right mouse button to hit the shot. You definitly need to learn how much power is required to get over the hills on the course. Too much power will cause the ball to leave the course.

Thanks for the bump. Considering the fact that the game is still being sold on the site and there isn't a new version of it, that's really cool that he decided to give it away for a day.
