The NBA's Atlantic Division (Yikes!)

Code:
Atlantic Division through 12/26/06 Toronto 12 16 .429 -- 7-3 5-13 4-1 8-6 Lost 1 5-5 New York 12 18 .400 1.0 7-10 5-8 1-4 8-12 Lost 1 5-5 New Jersey 11 17 .393 1.0 8-9 3-8 3-2 8-8 Lost 3 4-6 Boston 10 16 .385 1.0 4-10 6-6 4-4 8-10 Lost 3 5-5 Philadelphia 7 20 .259 4.5 4-7 3-13 2-3 6-12 Lost 1 2-8

And under the NBA's Playoff Seeding Rules, the Raptors would currently hold the #4 Seed and have Home Court in the First Round against Seed #5. The Raptors currently have the 10th best record in the East. Yikes!

Boston and Philly should be right in the thick of the Oden race.

And they're doing fairly well at home.

It's early. I expect some in here to be above .500 when is all said and done. Though I would enjoy a team not in the Top 8 making the playoffs since I hate the set-up in BBall and Hockey for playoffs.

And I just realized that if the Raptors had played the same number of home games as road games at their current win rates they'd be 14-14, good for a tie for 7th in the East. They've currently played 10 home games against 18 road games.

The worst team in basketball would only be 5.5 games out? Wow!
