And the Ducks rematch with the Kings tomorrow night, too (and I am going).

Go Bruins! (always cheer for underdog)
Go Kings! (I'm a Sharks fan, more to gain with Ducks losing)

Yup, I was right. I'l be in the 414 section, looks like just a little above the top of the entrance tunnels, if I recall right.

The good news is I while be there. The bad news is, it is also a birthday gift for my bro (I am taking him and his family), and they are Kings fans. Ugh.

Oh well...the stands will be a mix as usual anyway.

lol, I'll take that. I would imagine we would be the focus of a lot of dislike by half of the sports fans in LA right now (maybe more than half, actually, since this is such a ridiculous fair weather-bandwagon area).

That is bizarre, we are going with a co-worker and her partner for his birthday and he also is a huge Kings fan. We are sitting in 401, about half-way up towards the nosebleeds.

At least the Ducks got the win today and Parros scrapped with Ivanans, I will gladly take a repeat of that tomorrow. Maybe Parros will beat that annoying little prick Avery's head into the ice for double bonus points as well.

Says a fan of the team that never broke 3 million in attendance until AFTER they won a World Series.

Nothing personal, Chief, and I know you're not "one of them," but I love that juxtaposition.

Hard to build up a fanbase here when you make the playoffs just three times in 40 years prior to 2002. Your team was helped not only by success but tons of New York-Brooklyn transplants to the area who are more toward East Coast (i.e. devoted to death) vareity of fan than the local variety.

I don't see that there is anything odd about me being a fan of a team that had a lot of fairweather fans in 2002. Only the Dodgers and Lakers have hardcore bases in LA area-SoCal outside of the colleges. That doesn't change the basic fact about the local "fan" in SoCal, no matter who says it.
