(MIL) A great article on why our military has problems dealing with insurgents
This isn't a political article, so I put a MILitary tag on it. This is an excerpt from a book about the unbalanced state of our military. On the high end of technology, we are unmatched and unsurpassed and can project power anywhere in the world quickly. But at the base infantry level, we do not have that much of an advantage, if any, over armed militias. It is an interesting read.

Maybe, but a lot of it is spot on too, and it's hardly news to anyone who has an interest in military technology and tactics.

Grammatical errors notwithstanding, he makes quite a few good points. Unfortunately he overlooks several other key points that are more pertinent to his argument.

Also keep in mind that this was an essay culled from his book. I haven't read the entire book yet, so I'm not sure if the holes are filled in and explained better in the complete document.
