Ugliest looking cat in history imo. What kind of a moron shaves his cat like a frigging poodle?

my sentiments on this have not changed since i last saw it:

the owner of this cat needs to be shot in the face.

Well, we ARE dealing with a cat owner here! What can you expect from someone who'd pick a cat over a dog???

Thank you for that. As a devout dog owner I must admit I have been chuckling for several minutes. Best thing to liven up my mood all day.

I don't quite think that's a real photo. It looks edited.

I'm with Blacky, as soon as I saw the pic, something just didn't look right.

Well, for one, the proportion of the head to the body is off. The fur on the feet looks too thick to have legs that skinny. And the shadow below the head looks off compared to the shadow behind the kitty. Besides, who can get their cat to pose like that?

Man... I thought this thread was gonna be about something.

I thought Ksyrup was gonna give us the road map.

But this isn't an HM thread...

so, we actually do that to one of our cats. honest. in fact, she just came home with one the other day.

she's a long hair cat that, for whatever reason, doesn't do a very good job of grooming herself. we brush her pretty regularly, but she still ends up getting all kinds of matted, tangled lumps in her fur, not to mention stuff from the litter box hanging off her on a regular basis. she ends up being pretty miserable from all the tangles in her fur - they get so bad they have to be cut off, and she gets so many that it's a never ending process.

so, we've started doing the lion cut about once a year or so - she's MUCH happier. she gets the petting she wants, and she doesn't have annoying clumps in her fur. eventually, as the fur grows in, until she gets to the point where she has to have it done again.

it looks silly, but it's got a purpose, at least for our cat.
