Clarett charged with more. Jeez.

What a disaster.. Maybe the ultimate in falls from grace.

I've got to ask OSU'ers out there (no smack intended), how does it feel to know that the only National Football Title won in some time, was handed to you by this fellow?

Would you rather have not won it if you would've known this in advance?

Four loaded guns and a bulletproof vest? Was this guy trying out a real life action movie or something?

No impact whatsoever. Then again, I give the OSU defense more credit for the title than Clarett or the offense in general. People forget that Clarett sat out something like 4 games that year.

I'm still happy with the title and rewatch the game with Miami once a year during the off season. I wish Tressel would have handled Clarett a lot better but I think Clarett was a collapse waiting to happen regardless of what university he attended. With hindsight, it is clear that Clarett should have been shielded from the media and there was a game against Northwestern when he got in to an arguement with a coach and should have been benched.

Youngstown produced clarett and brad smith...what opposite characters those 2 are, one a model citizen, the other the model screw-up...guess which one is in the NFL

Maybe. But it's not possible, so thank goodness we can just sweep all that under the rug.

There are lots of athletes from lots of programs who have gone off the deep end. He just did it a lot sooner than most. I doubt anyone is asking USC fans if they'd rather have not won the national title in 1967 just because OJ Simpson was on the team.

OJ Simpson has done nothing wrong, besides his acting in the Naked Gun movies.

Ok, let's not forget that Maurice is innocent until proven guilty. But Jesus Christ. I'd expect that stupidity only in New Orleans--and then, only if on Crystal Meth. For a week straight. With nothing to eat. And with voices whispering the arabic alphabet in your right ear all day and night while you wonder if the world might really be flat.

Not that I've experienced that or anything.

Ok, that was weird. What a way to make an entrance, eh? Don't hit enter 3 times if there's a system delay. Got it.

My bad.

For our legal justice system? Sure. For my own personal opinion? Of course not.
