OT: CM4/CONCACAF question

CONCACAF has changed their World Cup qualification format. I like the changes. But beyond that, will CM4 have the new format?

From the article Under the new format, which must be approved by the FIFA World Cup organizing committee,

On the SIGames website, they highlighted this sentence. Until it is official they will not change the format.
