I don't know how people can multi table. I tried playing 4 rings tables at once....best I could discribe it would be "organized mayhem."

*shrug* I'll stick to my one MT at a time for now.

Multi-tabling is a acquired skill set. It does not take much time to get use to though, in my opinion.

Four is a bit much. 2 to 3 games at once seems to work for me. When I play just one game a tend to get bored and get in hands I shouldn't.

Playing four tables at once means I get aces almost twice an hour.

AND THAT MEANS MORE MONEY FOR DADDY!!!!!

2 is good enough for me, anything more and it screws me up. Unless I'm in a tournament and then it's just 1 table...

Thanks for the heads up. I haven't looked at my PS account in awhile; I'll have to do so soon.

On my multitabling experience, I can do two tables well enough with both ring and tournaments. The problem is that with two tables I'll miss some very subtle things that I'd likely catch if I was only playing one table (and paying attention to only that one). This causes a decrease in return for me that more than offsets the gain in hands played, unless I'm bonus hustling.

It's something I'll eventually work on.

I'm not a huge multi-table player either, but on my laptop, two tables is a HUGE pain in the ass when I'm seated in the same position, or close to it, on both tables...I HATE THAT!!!

For quite awhile I was 8 tabling the 3/6 6-max games. I even experimented with 10 tabling for awhile. What I took from that experience was that I could profitably play 8 tables at once, but that it decreases my win rate to the point where I can make more playing 4 and it was slowly eating away at my soul.

So I have generally settled into 4 tables of 6 max NL games now. Every once in awhile if I find tables just too good to leave I will get as high as 6 tabling and sometimes down to 3 if the tables are bad, but 4 is usually the number.

I finally got a chance to look at the changes PS has made. Not bad. But I was far more intrigued to find out about the newest member of their team. Not whom I expected, and not where I expected either.

When I play ring tables, which is hardly ever now, I just play 2 at a time. I try to get tables where I'm in the top left corner at one table and the bottom right corner at the other, so it's easy to see.

But I mainly just play MTs now. Ring tables are boring to me.

I am doing 8, but that is limit full-ring, which in my opinion is the easiest game to multi-table.

I don't even know what my game is anymore, but I have 4-tabled pretty much every available game at some time or another. I had great fun once when I had two NL tables up, one PLO table, and one PLO8 table all going at the same time. The NL tables were relatively easy to manage, considering that I sometimes couldn't remember which Omaha table was PLO and which was PLO8. Oh, THAT was an adventure.

While we are on the subject of Stars updates, they are also working on rolling out a version that includes Razz, HORSE and HOSE.

You can check it out at:

http://www.testpokerstars.com

Currently they only are offering them as play money games as they work out the kinks. I am looking forward to the first FOFC HORSE tournament.

This is probably not the right thread for this but I thought I would bring it up anyway.

I have been making a ton of easy money by doing casino whoring. It is easier than poker in my opinion and the money is rolling in. I am having fun doing it as well. It provides a nice break from poker.

That would be awesome.

I think we ought to have a Razz tourney too just to screw with everyone's mind.
