Smile The 2003 Golden Scribe Finalists (Revisited from Old Board)

I brought this over from the old board just for history's sake, in case the import thing doesn't work.

Okay, now that all of the finalists have been selected, it is time for the final voting process. Please vote for only one of the finalists in each category, and feel free to abstain from voting in categories in which you are not familiar with the dynasties. The voting period will run from now until midnight on Friday, January 3rd, so you will have plenty of time to read any dynasties with which you are unfamiliar, if you so wish.

Please send all votes to both primelord and myself, along with your FOFC username. All votes are confidential.

And now, the finalists listed by category:

Best TCY Dynasty

1. Five Great Men - The College Years, by stkelly52.
2. Indiana: A TCY Village Challenge, by 3ric, Alf, andy m, bigjdotcom01, Cornhuskerly, and RPI-Fan.

4. The Bill Gates Challenge, by Kodos.
5. X-Com II: The Earth's Revenge, by Godzilla Blitz.

Note: The following categories have been added in light of feedback from voters. With that in mind, we will skip the nomination phase for just these categories and only have a one-time, straight-up vote. Please vote for whomever you feel is most deserving in each category, and, as stated above, make only one vote per category. It’s probably not the perfect solution, but I wanted to add in the categories that other people suggested.

Dynasty-Writing Rookie of the Year

Please nominate your favorite dynasty poster who started his first dynasty during the 2002 calendar year (please list poster and his dynasty’s name).

1. ???

Add-On Utility of the Year

1. ???

Greatest Dynasty of All-Time

For this category, I think I will go ahead and list the dynasties by order of popularity once the results have been tabulated. To get past the problem of not breaking it out into smaller categories, for this category only, I will allow 5 votes from each voter. Here is the points system that will be used:

Best: 6 pts
2nd: 4 pts
3rd: 3 pts
4th: 2 pts
5th: 1 pt

That’s all, folks! Thanks for your input, and may the best dynasties win!

THE BEST BASEBALL DYNASTY FINALISTS:
Regrettably, due to a shortage of baseball dynasties that lasted for any amount of time, only three baseball dynasties received nominations. However, the competition within this category should prove to be interesting. Good luck to our three baseball finalists!
