OT: Addicted to Lost

Bought the Lost season 1 DVD set on Thursday. Since 11 PM Thursday night I've watched 20 episodes. 4 more to go which I am in the process of now. Never have I been this addicted to a show. It's no Shield, but it's damn fun to watch.

I am also in the process of DLing the first 14 episodes of season 2 so I'll be caught up.

Just needed to get that off my chest.

I find that happening with a lot of the shows I get on DVD. Happened with The Shield, 24, Lost. I'm considering throwing The Wire up on my netflix. Haven't seen an episode, but I've heard good things. Good thing GPA doesn't matter too much in my major!

Yeah man. I was with the Shield and 24 from the beginning, but when its a new show to you on DVD, if its good, having all the episodes accesible is both amazing and sucky. You just gotta keep going. I have two papers to write tomorrow, then two mid terms Friday, so I need to finish it now.

Haha does that mean I'll get sucked in further or it doesn't keep up the pace?

I ended up watching the 24 Season 1 lost episodes in the space of a week, basically ignored the wife when I got home from work to fire up the DVDs. Considering that I normally watch maybe 1-2 hours a week of TV (excluding sports), she was a little thrown off by this behavior.

Yeah, that is one show that will do it to you. My buddy had the same phase. It's easier as a college kid though, that's for damn sure.

To say season 2 has been a disappointment would be a gigantic understatement.

That's a shame. Thankfully, I'm more focused on the Shield and 24 right now, then Thief next month starts. It'll be a good stretch regardless.

Deadwood and Rescue Me in the summer ... Booyahtzee.
