Final Destination 3
Anyone else seeing it this weekend?
I know I am because it looks so damn funny. I hear it's the most graphic of the three, so that's intriguing. But the tanning bed scene and roller coaster scene look hilarious. Definetly not expecting an epic horror pick, but a funny movie with some gore, I hope. |

The first two were decent horror flix, so I will probably check this one out on DVD, at least.

I'm a sucker for obtrusive ads that scream at you and are placed at the top of sports gaming boards, so.. maybe.

My Top 5 Final destination deaths so far:
5. FDII-(TIE)Kid getting crushed by plate of glass. The way his body just snapped. Ka-powie!!! Also the lottery winner getting his hand caught in the drain, only to escape, only get a ladder through the eye. I wonder if he *saw* that one coming 4.FDI-The French teacher getting impaled by knives. Sacre Bleu!! 3.FDII-Kid getting dismembered by flying razor wire. His body coming apart in three pieces was just raw! BIFF! 2.FDII-Highway Accident. Just people getting pulverized faster than bullets coming out of a machine gun. Booyashaka! 1.FD 1-Girl gets blindsided by bus. This really made me leap out of my seat in the theater. Next stop: The cold, cold ground!!! This list will probably change after I see part 3

No love for the airbag-induced impalement in FDII? The Highway Accident in FDII was one of the most intense scenes I have seen in a theater in a long, long time. |

I loved the death at the end of Final Destination 2. It was so ridiculous, it was funny. Dinner time!

FD1 was either cleverly nodding to the gaping plot holes in horror movies gone by, or was just shite. I favour the latter...
First death - kid in the bathroom: Alex: 'Wait, there's a pattern...' - Bollocks! YOU CANNOT HAVE A PATTERN AFTER ONE EVENT! The idea was great, but the complete lack of intelligence within the actual film put me off. Even if Alex had gone 'Hmmm, he was the one sitting closest to the explosion' then after the second death gone 'Wait, there's a pattern' it would have showed the writers/director could understand what they weer doing, but even this was too much to ask. Utter tosh. Rant over

I was so disappointed in the 1st, I still haven't seen the 2nd. I'd be willing to bet I don't see the 3rd.

I laughed my ass off. The deaths were cool looking, altohugh very cartonny, still good. They came so rapdily though, it was a shame. The dialogue is awful, and you'll root for certain characters to dies (girls in the tanning bed), but when they do you get pumped.
Ending is something to laugh at too. It's short, like 90 minutes, but funny. It's good for what it is. |

Meh, while the movie certainly isn't very plausible to begin with, any plausibility the movie has goes right out the window, and I was surprised the writers put in such a huge plot hole. I'd be surprised if someone else doesn't catch it. I don't want to spoil the movie for anyone that wants to see it, but I will just say, pay attention to who leaves the rollercoaster.
