I predict that Oakland will win, but that's only b/c I really don't like Warren Sapp and really don't want him to win.

However, if the Super Bowl is like the rest of the NFL year, the opposite of what I want to happen will happen, and Warren Sapp will win MVP for a victorious Tampa Bay squad.

The difference will be that TB holds Oakland to FGs instead of the touchdowns they usually score.

The final score will be:

Oakland- 19
Tampa- 24

For the past several years, there has been a football game using video games between two of the players (one from each team). For the past 7 years the wining team of that game won the SuperBowl. This year the Bucs were triumphant.

I heard that too stkelly.

But that's not why I'm going for the Bucs. I think their defense will come through and pressure Gannon.

I think Oakland has too much experience and playing in San Diego is almost a home game compared to the 3000 miles Tampa has to travel. I don't like either team, but...

Oakland 27
Tampa 16

Hmm...tough call. Who do I dislike more... Al Davis or Warren Sapp?

Bucs 21
Raiders 17

Can't they both lose?

I thought the Eagles were the best team in the league. The Tampa Bay Bucs proved me wrong once again. The Raiders are good, but the AFC is in a distant second to the NFC this year. Gannon will have at least 2 picks, and the Raiders running game will be non-exsistant as it has been all year. The Bucs will win without much problem IMO.

Buccaneers - 24
Raiders - 13

Tampa scores 1 touchdown, 3 field goals, 1 defensive touchdown.

EDIT: Simeon Rice is MVP

I feel that the Oakland machine comes to a halt no matter how much I would like to see Jerry Rice get another Super Bowl ring.

I guess it would obvious for me to pick the Bucs. But for me the challenge is picking the score.

I will say 31-17 Bucs.

But even in they lose, I am still just happy they made the Super Bowl!

Oakland is too good all around this year. TB offense won't be able to put up the numbers they have in the last couple of games, but their defense will keep them in the game. Interceptions keep Gannon from getting the MVP, and Rice comes away with his second Super Bowl MVP.

Raiders win 27-17.

They have the perfect offense to offset the Buccaneer defense. You can't run on TB, the Raiders don't run. And you have to be patient moving the ball with short passes, the Raiders are maybe the best ever at this.

This should be an excellent game to watch.

I'm coming down on the side of the Raiders, but it'll be close.

I'm going to with Tampa 30, Raiders 24.

When I was in Vegas, I put down $10 on a parlay that I no longer have any confidence in:
  • Buccs and the points
  • Over 3 field goals
  • Most points scored in 2nd half
  • 1st score a field goal
  • Over 2 interceptions
I'm an idiot.

I would love to see Tim Brown get a ring, along with Gannon.
