NFL Week 6

They're about to show a bit on "Greatest Sideline Confrontations Ever" on ESPN. I love this sort of stuff!

And Ricky is back... has to be today's biggest story.

Am I the only person impressed with Thomas Jones? The guy is shifty as hell, and I couldn't even imagine him on a team with a passing attack.. I think he is a great back.

Watching the Dolphins-Bucs game, let's see what Ricky can do, too bad that Cadillac is not playing (even more bad as i didn't have time to replace him before the game started in my fantasy).

Maddox would have gotten sacked probably 5 times or more last week, since he is a 0/100 in the sense rush rating.

I am really growing weary of the bengals O-Coord falling back into his Run at all costs mentality. 16 runs, 6 passes, failed on 4th adn 1 yet again. This is getting really annoying. THROW the fucking FOOTBALL. Tennessee's secondary sucks balls!!! This game should be a two score advatage already, but no, he curls up with his running plays and thinks its going to work all day.

GAH.

Would Rickey Williams be worth picking up even though I already have Thomas Jones, Corey Dillon, Willie Parker, and Tatum Bell?

Dropped two passes already, one that hit him right between the numbers, no less. The other one went through his hands and resulted in an INT.

If the Lions punt on my first down the rest of the season, maybe the defense can actually generate some offense. Lord knows, Joey (and Mooch's uncreative-ass) can't.

The Giants are playing like crap today. Their offense can't do anything and the only way their defense can stop the Dallas offense is if Dallas turns it over..

WTF did Olindo Mare try to do?? He kicked a punt (he shouldn't, he is not a punter) kicked it so high............ for an 8 yards punt???? WTF? Nobody told him that the yards count when you advance to the other field not when you kick as high as you can?

I am watching the Lions game, and wondering how Joey Harrington, or any other quarterback is supposed to complete passes on third and long, especially with no time to throw the ball. Is Jeff Garcia somehow going to perform better in this situation?

If we could see Mooch's ratings EHM-style, his adaptability would be a -100.

It won't matter.

These are the same Lions fans (And I am a big one, but a lot of these fans) who wanted Mike McMahon and his 45% completion percentage as our #1 because he was athletic.

So long as it's not Joey, no one cares.

PLEASE tell me you aren't defending Joey Check-Down. There is no excuse for the mistakes he makes, nor the lack recognition. He is an average-below average QB who should not be the starter on any team.

BTW, I was never a big McMahon fan. I always thought that with his speed he should have been converted to WR.

It appears with the Atlanta Vickons, you stop the run and force Vick to pass and you can win...assuming your own offense shows up.

No, I am not defending Joey.

I am just saying that the Lions problems today are far more then Joey, such as bad play calling, poor running and of course, a horrid O-Line, and it won't matter who the QB is, they won't do much either at this rate today. A majority of fans just want Joey out because they think it'll automatically make us far superior, which isn't true.

WOOOOO! Go Falcons! Blocked kick at the end of the 1st half, and the Falcons take it back for a TD.

The offense and defense has sucked so far, but we lead 17-10.

Just think about all of those wasted WR picks (although Mike Williams might be ok), and the O-linemen we could have had. Makes you sick. Also think about the wasted Backus pick in 2001. We ALMOST got Hutchinson instead. Aaaarghh!

And our defense finally created a turnover. Anthony Henry picked off Eli on the Dallas one and returned it 45 yards...

The Giants-Dallas game is going to be one of those games where the team who turns the ball over 5 or 6 times is still going to win. They always show that stat: "When a team is +3 in turnovers for a game, they win 95% of the time" or whatever the percent is. This is one of those 5% games.

The Giants are playing terrible today. Eli's first pick since week 1 I think.
