Mute button is your friend. I start going into a craze when I start to hear that song, looking for the remote trying to hit mute as fast as I can.

What song?

I don't like the cross-over stuff he does now. Like his older, country music.

Take heart, I think there's probably a deal for him to do something for the NCAA broadcasts with one of his early hits.

I'm an Indian outlaw
Half Cherokee and Choctaw
My baby she's a Chippewa
She's one of a kind

All my friends call me Bear Claw
The Village Cheaftin' is my paw-paw
He gets his orders from my maw-maw
She makes him walk the line

You can find me in my wigwam
I'll be beatin' on my tom-tom
Pull out the pipe and smoke you some
Hey and pass it around

'Cause I'm an Indian outlaw
Half Cherokee and Choctaw
My baby she's a Chippewa
She's one of a kind

I ain't lookin' for trouble
We can ride my pony double
Make your little heart bubble
Lord like a glass of wine

I remember the medicine man
He caught runnin' water in my hands
Drug me around by my headband
Said I wasn't her kind

'Cause I'm an Indian outlaw
Half Cherokee and Choctaw
My baby she's a Chippewa
She's one of a kind

I can kill a deer or buffalo
With just my arrow and my hickory bow
From a hundred yard don't you know
I do it all the time

They all gather 'round my teepee
Late at night tryin' to catch a peek at me
In nothin' but my buffalo briefs
I got 'em standin' in line

'Cause I'm an Indian outlaw
Half Cherokee and Choctaw
My baby she's a Chippewa
She's one of a kind

Cherokee people
Cherokee tribe
So proud to live
So proud to die

Word. I detest country.

I wrote Monday Night Football an email complaining about it. Haven't watched a halftime show since week three, when I realized that it was still going to be a regular feature.

Even if you like country music, I think it does a crappy job of presenting what happened on Sunday. The one piece I saw was a collage of random short clips. When it was over I had no idea who beat who, and could barely remember who played who.

I think MNF needs to quit trying to be hip and just use it as a vehicle for *gasp* football! I mean it kind of sells itself, doesn't it?

This song annoys me as well. Even though I didn't like it from the moment I heard it, even if it had been Tubthumping for 17 weeks, I'd get sick of it after week 3.

They picked the wrong Tim McGraw song:

"How Bad do you want it" is a much better song for football

Maybe if he had a song where he sang the words "Tim McGraw" I'd like it.

More Faith Hill, less McGraw.

Thank you.

Please tell me that you're not implying that MNF football is trying to be hip by showing highlights to a *Tim McGraw* song.

Actually I am, they are just about 4 years behind the curve is all. Look at everything MNF has tried in the last 5 years and tell me they have not been trying to be hip.

Dennis Miller
That whole "SACKED!" thing
Tim Mc Graw
Hank Williams Jr. (ok 20 yrs. for this)
That Nicole Sheridan/TO thing

Just worry about selling football and it will sell.

Talking "JACKED UP"

I would rather see The "JACKED-UP" highlights from ESPN!! You know the one where Michael Irvin, Tom Jackson and Stu go over highlights from Sunday and when they show a guy get really hammered they say he got "JACKED-UP"!!

Repeatedly.

Honestly dude, the garbage that bogs down the country music scene these days isn't even country. It's adult contemperary with a twang. Country music is slowly dying.

I never was really a fan of country as a kid, but I always like a few such as Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Randy Travis, and Conway Twitty (blame that on my grandma) amoung others, but I long for the days when country was actually country.

(The above comments are just my opinion, so don't be hatin' )
