Hooking your PC up to your TV?

So my video card has a video out on it, I haven't really had a reason to use it but since I've discovered the TV shows you can download via bittorrent my PC has replaced my VCR.

Only problem is, I've tried hooking it up both through my VCR & TV and I get a black & white, totally off centred picture, that keeps flickering. I'm going into my video card settings and picking the TV out option, and it recognizes my TV is plugged in... any pointers?

I have an ATI card so I'm familiar with their software.

Are you using the S-video out on the video card? If so, do you also have regular Yeloow video cable plugged into the TV at the same time? If so again, try unplugging the yellow video cable.

I'm using the yellow video out thing on my video card, and plugging it into the yello input plug on my TV.
