Incredible weather images (pawned as Katrina)
And yes, I mean the hurricane, not a Eastern Bloc porn star.
Edit: See below Edit #2: These might not be legit Katrina images after all Edit #3: According to Snopes, these are real weather images but not from Katrina.

In this modern age - have to ask... any assurances these are real images, and not some sort of photoshopped product? They are quite stunning... but so was the picture of the goofy-looking guy atop the WTC with the plane in the background.

I don't think they are, I think they were sent to me prior to Katrina...I will have to look on my home machine as I have them somewhere and see the date as to when they were sent.

Oh well, don't I feel like a dork. Why do people do shit like fake images from a hurricane? Even if they are just photoshopped weather images, they still look cool. Why not just say that?

Yeah, it's a guy in Nebraska who takes these. Whenever he puts a new batch up, they usually get a link on Fark.com. Amazing stuff, even if it isn't the hurricane.

Those are awesome...
I once saw a picture of the clouds over a OK/TX (can't remember where exactly - some tornado prone state) and when you turned the picture sideways, it was the image of Jesus either praying or holding his hands out over the area (again, can't remember which). I've always wanted to see that picture again - does anyone know what I am talking about?
