Copy Protection Question
Is StarForce the copy protection scheme that everyone was warning against? I was thinking of picking up an application and noticed it's protected by StarForce - should I stay away from it?
Thanks!

Yes, that's the big bugaboo for a lot of people. I have it for Silent Hunter III and haven't encountered any issues, but YMMV.

I understand that changes made to StarForce have made it much more stable and less likely to screw up your system, but yes, that's the one everyone warns against.

Ugh - so there's no way to be assured that it's ok, huh?
