Recap: FOFC: The Mole
Looks like The Mole deleted the last thread. Hope you all remember what was there.
For those who don't know, the team got the Enigma puzzle right, despite not knowing how they got it. The Mole was way too generous. Coffee Warlord was the correct response. Tests will be PMed in the tomorrow morning/afternoon. While taking the tests, you are not allowed to share your test answers or questions with anyone else. Your answers will be PMed back to me.

Now perhaps this is part of the Mole's insiduous behavior but could we get a list of people participating at least?

The Mole told me, "Tough luck."
However, I will go ahead and pass on the list shortly.

It should also be noted that The Mole apparently bribed MattJones4Heisman. MJ4H accepted the bribe and attempted to help keep the team from completing the enigma. Had MJ4H and The Mole succeeded, MJ4H would be exempt from today's test. However, since MJ4H and The Mole failed, MJ4H will still take the test. I should also point out this shouldn't exclude MJ4H from being The Mole, as The Mole could very well try and fake the team out by bribing himself.
Confused? Good. The Mole wants you to be. Tests should be PMed shortly.

The test has been PMed to all participants, except Schmidty. Schmidty, you need to clear out some space in your PM box and let me know when you can receive the test.

By the way, you may not share the test or answers with anyone. This includes people not playing in the game. You may not accept suggestions either.
You may use notes, printouts, or anything else at your disposal. Just not your neighbor, or FOFCers.

Is there any punishment and/or reward for winning or losing the challenge?
Is there a deadline for the mole exam?

I thought about this, but I really couldn't come up with an award type system. I thought of using a monetary value or points. It's really up to you guys. If you feel it would provide another dimension, I could easily assign a monetary value to the challenges.

Schmidty has been on a couple of times, and still hasn't cleaned out his inbox. If I still can't get him the test after 24 hours of sending it to the rest of you, I will replace him with Raven.
Raven will assume the role Schmidty had, if any.

Raven will now enter the game in place of Schmidty. Raven has been sent the test.

In the television show, a green thumbprint meant you passed to the next round, a red thumbprint meant you were a victim of The Mole.
I have the scores ready, and The Mole's victim has been identified. Post below for your result. Green type will mean you passed, red type will mean you were the victim of The Mole. Good luck, everyone.

Red. Kingfc22, you are The Mole's first victim. The next tasking for the group will have a monetary value assigned to it and will be up shortly. Good luck to all of you. Watch out for The Mole.

Before we start the next task, I need the team to decide something. Unfortunately, The Mole has kidnapped Johnny93g and he will not be able to participate. The team needs to be split into three groups. Of the groups, two will have three people, and the last will have two people.
It is up to you to decide who will be in which group, and a simple majority will suffice. Group 1 Likes Baseball Group 2 Likes Football Group 3 Doesn't Like Hockey I'll post further instructions once the team has agreed on groups. Just remember The Mole has Johnny93g hostage while you're waiting.

I think The Mole might be tricking us here, and we SHOULDN'T follow what the groups title say.
aka, I'm a big hockey fan, and I have a feeling Group 3 may have a hockey-related task. Thoughts?

Well I can fit into all three categories but do like your thought RPI about Mole treachery, but think at this point it's a risk worth taking. In other words I can be flexible. And boy am I amazed to have survived the first round.

So if you're agreeing with me, I'd say put me in the "Doesn't like hockey" group. I have to go to work until 10pm tonight, but I suspect it will take a while for everybody to check in. Let's get a sense of whether people want to play this straight, or play it my way, and then go from there. ~rpi-fan

But it isn't the Mole that is assigning the groups nor choosing the group names, our esteemed moderator is. Therefore, I think choosing a group pretty much has no effect other than to seperate us into three groups quickly. I'll join the baseball group. |

I know more about baseball than I do about any other sport. I'd say I have very good knowledge of the sport, it's history, players etc.
I'd like to be in the baseball group. |

I really don't like hockey and so perhaps RPI and I should be in that category so that we have our bases covered in case the categories are true, or in case they're not.

I'm not a hockey fan at all, but I think its likely RPI is right that there is some catch involved with the various groups. Sadly I'm not a real big fan of baseball these days, and while I like football, I don't have encyclopedic knowledge of it. Still of the three groups, the like football group seems to be the best fit for me.
I can be convinced to join another if a good reason is given. |

So here's what I've got for teams so far:
Hockey -- Barkeep49, RPI-Fan Football -- Thomkal Baseball -- Toddzilla, Raven That leaves Fouts, MattJones4Heisman, Passacaglia, & kingfc22 with us needing one more hockey and baseball, and two football. |
