Multiplayer. I'm in a number of MP leagues and it's been quite a while since I've started up a SP league...

They're both pretty good, but multiplayer is a little better.

For me, FOF 2004 is reserved to multiplayer (IHOF / Paris Musketeers).
I play FOF2 and some TCY for my solo careers.

I used to SP all the time, til I joined my first MP league. Haven't touched my SP career since the Bronze Age.

I am one of the few who has never tried the jump to MP.

So I go for SP, mostly because I like setting my own times to play, and I usually play in binges. I'm horrible about checking in daily or weekly even.

Multplayer has ruined single player for me. I cannot get into single player at all because it feels like there is nothing at stake.

The single player aspect of FOF had really played itself out for me with all the previous versions, so i only play multiplayer now.

I hadn't played single in a long time, but started a career recently, and it's fun again.

Where's neither? I really haven't played in a while. I started up a solo career about two months ago, but didn't get into it and only played six years. Not that it's a big deal or anything though. I just quit playing Starcraft about a year ago after playing it for years as well.

I have gotten rather invested in my multiplayer leagues, but a recent career has proven to me that I can still (under the right) circumstances get immersed into the single player game as well.

Though, admittedly, now that I have several things to actually do with my multiplayer teams, I have suddenly placed teh SP career on the back burner. Maybe that's the evidence I needed to answer "multiplayer" in the poll.

MP is the ultimate challenge. But I still shoot through a season of SP every once in a while when I need my FOF fix. Like during MP playoffs.

Although "neither" is a more accurate answer for me at this point, I'd say "single" is the hands down winner of the two choices, given that I'd rather have major dental work without anesthetic than deal with MP anything.

Single player, I love setting up various challenges for myself. Since I don't like to do gameplans at all and just let the computer handle them, I've always assumed I would get destroyed in MP, so I haven't bothered.

Does anyone know how many active FOF MP leagues are out there?

Crazy. I joined one of the first three leagues created and haven't really looked elsewhere, didn't realize how many leagues are out there now.

I just went through the MP leagues linked in the MP forum thread by the President...Jim has to be very happy with the success he's had with the MP portion of the game. Not only were there a number of active leagues but the quality of the websites were very impressive. Even considering the large number of players who are in multiple leagues, there has to be at least a couple hundred active players. That's very impressive for a product released so long ago and to such a small market base.

MP has made SP fall far onto the backburner. It is just so much fun to compete against some of the guys from this forum.

Well, I guess this means that I need to try and get into a MP league to really maximize my game enjoyment. I am total noob in this area though.

I'm in my first one, and I'm liking it. It is just hard to remember to check every day. I get too distracted by pesky real life that I often miss things I'd rather not (like a good portion of the kick-off draft).
