When are you a Millionaire?
Listening to the radio tonight on my way home, they were talking about that Millionaire who killed his wife in Florida. Plus, it seems like everyone is a millionaire today (read a few weeks back that it was around 2.5 million out of 291 million people in the US are). What exactly is a millionaire? One that has the assets? Or a million to spend at will?
Plus, I've heard that a true millionaire in today's standards would be worth between $5-$10 milliob? |

If I had a million dollars, I wouldn't really call myself a millionaire. 3 million then yeah, got to have some pocket change IMO to be a true millionaire these days....
As far as how much should be cash or assets? Beats me, I would take either though...

One of our old grads just donated $15 million to our school for a new indoor pool. I asked myself, how do you donate $15 million? I would guess that he's worth at least $150 million to give away that much. Maybe I should flash my ring and ask for a job...

$15 million for an indoor pool? Prolly worth atleast $150 million, but alot of the really-rich people donate extremely large sums when they cash in (stock, sell businesses or assets, ect). Last edited by Galaxy : 07-22-2005 at 09:03 PM. |

I think you need to have 1 million in cash and extremely liquid assets to be a millionaire.

If I had a million dollars, we wouldn't have to eat Kraft dinner.
