Poker Stars announces 4th WCOOP
(figured since several of us play at PS, this would be of interest)
Beginning September 4, the 4th annual World Championship of Online Poker packs 15 exciting poker events into 15 days, with a total prize pool guaranteed to be at least $8 million! As the world's premier online poker tournament, the WCOOP offers something for every poker player. This year's line-up includes No-Limit, Pot-Limit and Limit Texas Hold'em events, as well as Omaha (Pot-Limit and Limit High/Low) and Stud (High and High/Low). We've introduced three WCOOP firsts: a No-Limit Hold'em Triple Shootout, a No-Limit Hold'em Match Play event, and for all you short-handed experts, a Pot-Limit Hold'em event with maximum six-player tables. The WCOOP action is capped off by our main event, a No-Limit Texas Hold'em tournament with a guaranteed prize pool of at least $2.5 million. Satellites and qualifying tournaments for this year's events begin Sunday, July 17. Satellites will run non-stop to make sure that this year's 15-tournament WCOOP shatters records and retains its title as the world's largest online poker tournament. PokerStars is also putting up $1 million of our own money to ensure that our loyal players get in the game. You can find free Frequent Player Point (FPP) satellites running daily. Click "Events" and then "WCOOP," finally click the "FPP Satellite" tab. Play for free in our WCOOP FPP freerolls. If you win, you're in the WCOOP and have a shot at thousands of dollars and a WCOOP bracelet. To get many of your questions answered, please check out the WCOOP FAQ. # DATE EVENT BUY-IN FEE GUARANTEE 1. September 4 (Sun) No-Limit Hold 'em $500 $30 $800,000 2. This almost always comes with a bonus offer or two, hopefully Stars won't disappoint this year in that regard.

what did pokerstars do? Did you stop playing there Lathum? (I'm not a huge PS supporter mind you, I play 90% of the time on Party skins, but I do enjoy PS for tournaments).
