PING - Braves Fans

Got an off-the-wall question. Well, first, a brief background: my girlfriend's idol is Julio Franco. (Odd choice, I know, but it goes back to his days with the Rangers, and she got interested in softball b/c of him, and even took to 2nd base, and is now a huge baseball fan b/c of him, basically.)

With the Braves visiting our Texas Rangers this week, I want to take
her to a game - the question is, 'which game?' Obviously, a game
where Julio starts is the goal, but unfortunately we don't have a
southpaw scheduled to start in the series, and judging from Julio's
stats (at least as of the last time I checked, a few weeks ago at this
point, granted), but it appears he starts most on the road and against
lefties. Good to go on the first front, but without the second
ringing true, I was wondering if anyone had any insight into the probability of Julio in the lineup this series, and if so, which game? Any trends that you hardcore Braves fans might know that I'm not privy to?

(I know 'go to all games just to be sure' is an attractive alternative, but unfortunately not a fiscally possible one.)

Thanks in advance.

Braves lineups seem to be dictated mostly by who-is-healthy-enough-today for the past several weeks.

Another consideration is that Franco could be the DH. Any word from Braves fans who will be their DH this week?

You could try to call some Knowledgeable Atlanta Sports talk stations. I know the term may be an oxymoron.

He normally only starts v. lefties, and I'm not sure Bobby is still sticking with platooning him and LaRoche. He's normally good for a pinch every 1-2 games if he doesn't play though.

Your girlfriend is awesome. Julio is the man.

You could possibly ask here: hxxp://mb12.scout.com/fatlantabravesfrm1
