National F*%# Off at Work Minor League Challenge
So the bathroom essay didn't sound appealing. Today's challenge and work time waster is to learn more about the anonymous faces that make up sports' minor leagues.
The rules are simple. 1) You have to connect the first or last name of the previous player to your player. First name to first, last to last. For example James Jones could connect to James Johnson or Johnny Jones, but not to Jonas James. 2) Any minor league of any sport can be used. The only rule is that the player can't be in any country's "top" league and the player must be playing as a full-time job 3) Try to provide some info about the minor leaguer with a picture, stats or a short bio. 4) Waste a lot of time a work doing this instead of toiling for the man. |

I'll start with Louisville Bats pitcher Steve Kelly.
Steven Kelly: Individual Stats (Pitching) Team From To W L ERA G GS CG SHO SV IP H R ER HR BB SO Louisville Bats 04/07 05/30 4 1 2.37 10 10 0 0 0 60.2 49 18 16 4 20 42 Steve is far and away the best pitcher that the Reds could call up, but isn't on the 40 man roster and isn't likely to see the majors. |
