Imperial Glory

Anyone tried the demo for this?

A cross between Civilization and Rome: Total War, taking place between 1789 to 1830 planet as Great Britain, France, Austria, Prussia, or Russia. I'm reading good things about it on some of the message boards with quite a few folks claiming it is equal or better than Rome: Total War (which I loved).

What I've heard is that the strategic campaign aspect is quite good, but that the battles leave a lot to be desired if you have any hopes for authentic Napoleonic period tactics and uniforms, which is something the designers promised.

But I will probably grab it when it comes up cheap on GoGamer.

I really was looking forward to this one. But the more I investigate it, the more I don't think it's what I'm looking for.

To be honest, at this point, I think I am looking most forward to Age of Empires III at this point.
