HUGE NEWS!!! WORLD CUP 2006 SWITCHED TO US!!!!
ARTICLE FROM TRUSTED SITE
This is huge....germany really is going through a lot of scandal right now with their match fixing and hooligan fights, but i never dreamed they would take the cup from them. As a person who lives 15 minutes from tempe, i am going to do a lot to get tickets to the final, and going to ASU next year will only assert that as my freshman dorm is literally next door to sun devil stadium.. Either way, this is the biggest sporting event in the world and a major major news item. US will have home field too, which as a developing nation will do wonders!!!!! Anyone else have any thoughts?

Just remember to boo the Mexican national anthem and to chant "Frito Bandito" after they lose to someone.

And if they were suspended for lying, then I'm sure it was for lying about something that mattered--certainly not hockey or soccer.

The whole Pass-lurker thing, though I probably shouldn't dredge that back up.

Yeah, well, that was an April Fools joke in advance... And no, it wasn't me who reported the post, even though it *was* lies. Anyway, I just purchased a block of 100 seats for the Finals at Soldier Field -- who wants one? FOFC part-ay! And man, I could really go for some OG breadsticks with alfredo sauce right about now.. |
