I'm With Stupid #101

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Rules

The rules are the same as previous FOFC “I’m With Stupid" Contests, as set forth by the game’s beloved founding fathers.

The object of this contest is to answer the questions posted, and to provide the most common answer among those submitted. For each question, your score will be equal to the number of people who submitted that response. Your score for the contest will be the product of your individual question scores. Highest score wins.

No collaborating in any way. No posting your answers to this board, nor sharing them by e-mail or in any other way with other potential contestants.

All determinations of "matches" and anything else requiring judgment fall to that of the sole administrator of this round of the game, me. You can reduce the need for doubt and judgment by properly spelling your submissions, being clear, and that sort of thing. My decisions are final and inarguable.

Any references that are unclear to you, due to language or geography, should be understood to be authored from the perspective of an English-speaking American. However...

Your answers do not necessarily have to be correct in order to score points. If I ask "name a color of the rainbow," and you and four other people responded "black" - you get five points, period, even if it is not technically a correct answer to the question.

PM your answers to me, QuikSand . Deadline is noon QST on Monday, March 7th, or thereabouts – if I have your entry when I gather them up, you’re in.

The Questions

Welcome to IWS #101. I’m not a big fan of milestones anyway. Just another game.

We have questions assembled from several of the defending IWS champions this time around. You’ve read through and laughed at the rules, you strolled with amazement through the Hall of Heroes… now, take the test, and see if you measure up!

1. What is your least favorite U.S. city?

2. What class in school would you least want to repeat?

3. Who should be the first pitcher taken in fantasy baseball drafts this season?

4. Name a player who was a 2005 NBA All-Star.

5. Besides "Come on Eileen," name a song by Dexy's Midnight Runners.

6. Besides “idiot,” name a word you would use to insult an “idiot.”

Stop complaining, there's also an NBA question.
My knowledge at both is bad...

Number 5 alone makes this possibly the hardest IWS ever.

Response has been underwhelming... bump.

(a tough question or two -- but think of it this way: a shallow field makes this a great chance to bag a win at IWS!)

Fine with me. I'll sit it out as admin, but the contributors wouldn't seem to have a significant edge, I don't think.

Oh yeah, I fully respect people who can jump as high as some basketball stars can.

I'm a little tied up this afternoon, and probably won't get to this by tomorrow morning at the earliest. So, consider this an extension - plenty of time go Google your way to fame and fortune!

Though there are certain questions on this list that non-Americans are better able to answer than Americans...
