I don't think than necessaraly means he is done for the year, most players these days have an MRI for a hangnail.

Well, with their multi-gajillion dollar contracts, these guys have vested interests in making sure things are OK.

The only time I get annoyed with pro athletes is in cases like TO's where the surgeon he visited has a 5 month waiting list for new patients, but because he's TO, he could get in immediately (and probably make somebody else who had a more serious injury but not a big name wait longer).

Alas, not much can be done about that and I'm not one to talk about getting annoyed with people jumping in since in the case of Dr. Myerson, I was able to get in a day after emailing him without an appointment (either that means I had an interesting case or I was even more messed up that I thought).
