I don't have this one, I bought another one a few weeks ago from newegg and it looks great. Wish this one was here then, I paid $225.00.

Read the reviews, that's how I choose a product. All are great, 5 star.

The "friend" is paying me back.

Any LCD is going to look fuzzy at non-native resolutions. This is because the native resolution is absolute, and any other resolutions have to combine pixels to make them. The exceptions are when the resolution is 1/2, like 800X600 on a 1600X1200 monitor, or 640X480 on a 1280X960 monitor.

I find their customer support to be even better than their prices, thats the reason i've probably spent 7 or 8k on them over the last 7 years(dating back to my mid-teens).

excellent company. and you're right, the customer service is stellar. you get several status reports of your order and when it's being shipped and all that, every step of the way. if the guy who puts your purchase on the truck scratches his balls they give you a status report on that too. again, highly recommended.

I'd always assumed they were from the ashes of egghead, but I guess that isn't true.

Not the same, as you had mentioned, but I'm f'n done with rebates. Took 12 weeks to get my last one and I had to call them and get it re-sent out. Done, finished, ce la ve, or something like that.

Rebates are a joke!

20" LCD flatpanel monitor for $507 when you apply both coupons 40F961WD2MTG0K and 14?J2KVM?N8J21.$749 is the normal price http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/P...tegory_id=4009

This is an excellent buy. I bought it 2 weeks ago at $539 and even that price was great.

I hear ya - rebates are a freaken Joke. They always tend to find something you didn't fill out and you get a note a month later saying - sorry you won't get your rebate 'cause of ________.

I believe egghead was starting to go under just as newegg broke out. I've seen many people make the mistake, and, after they know the difference, call newegg egghead .

Just thought I'd give this a bump...

On Saturday night, I broke down and ordered one of these -- my old monitor was on the fritz anyways. Amazingly, after paying no shipping whatsoever, the monitor was here by Tuesday afternoon -- less than 48 hours after I ordered it, over a Sunday and a Holiday. Very impressed...and the quality of the monitor is fantastic as well. Thanks for the heads-up Todd!

Heh... I finally received a rebate I sent for about 3 months ago. I had forgotten about it.

Anyway, glad I could help Vince! The one I ordered came on Monday.
